I love Tyra, although the has a touch of annoyance to her personality. The third episode of ANTM comes on tonight at 8pm.

Isis, is one of the 14 girls competing in the 11th cycle of America's Next Top Model. Isis was born a boy and is representing for the trans gender community:

Hailing from Prince George's County, Maryland, Isis identifies herself as "a woman born physically male."

This is right up Tyra's annoying ass alley. And like I said, watch Isis win this whole thing. We all know Tyra loves to make a point. Hey, I'll be watching!

A good day to be black and woman

For the first time ever Italy Vogue will feature only Black models in the pages of their July 2008 issue. And finally!!! Black women (as a collective) are one of the biggest fashion consumers (we spend $20 billion a year on clothes!)in the world. But still, we aren't really represented on the runways and in commercials. Luckily, there are still photographers like Steve Meisel out there that know the real:

For the July issue of Italian Vogue, Mr. Meisel has photographed only black models. In a reverse of the general pattern of fashion magazines, all the faces are black, and all the feature topics are related to black women in the arts and entertainment. Mr. Meisel was given roughly 100 pages for his pictures. The issue will be on European newsstands next Thursday and in the United States soon after.
Under its editor, Franca Sozzani, Italian Vogue has gained a reputation for being more about art and ideas than commerce. Ms. Sozzani also doesn’t mind controversy.


I only read VOGUE on occasion (i.e When I'm in a really nice restroom in like Nordstrom's or Bloomingdales. The bathrooms are top notch by the way!) but I will be sure to pick up this issue. And this adds on to America being on the verge of having a FIRST BLACK FAMILY in the white house.

Tyra on the cover of the new New York Times. They compare her to Martha Stewart and the 'Oprah'. [The bitch is a brand name now. You didn't know? <-- Sweetberries] And it's all bullshit because Tyra is Tyra. Nothing more and nothing less. But why for she look like Angelina Jolie playing black face in a Beyonce body suit? Marinate on that one for a minute.

ANTM Cycle 10 Update

I faithfully tune in to watch America's Next Top Model every week. I posted some of the pictures I liked from last night. It wasn't an amazing photo shoot but some of the girls managed to take really nice pictures.




And sweet Claire went home last night. It was her time to go anyways. And her stupid ass injured herself last night. Claire was starting to get on my nerves anyways.

ANTM Update Episode 4

Amis got the boot last night and thank GOODNESS! She came to elimination looking like Axel Rose in his hay day and that ain't okay!



Claire and Lauren are my favorites in this model shit.

ANTM Cycle 10 Premiere

ANTM Cycle 10 premiered last night and nothing spectacular happened. Actually, the episode was kind of boring. The first episode always is and last night I made the conscience decision to miss the premieres of ANTM from now on. But I am going to include my opinion about some of the girls Tyra and company picked.
I like the fact there are a handful of brown woman this cycle around. And this is even though, Marvita, is the ugliest girl in the competition and I can't really tell if Dominique is a badly tanned white woman, or a product of a interracial relationship. But I do know the bitch thinks she's the baddest walking under the sun. And did they really have to keep squeaky voiced Stacey Ann? She won't last long. My girl, Fatima, is already my favorite and she will win, HANDS DOWN. She looks exactly like Iman. Very pretty girl!
Other than that I am rooting for the punk rock girl because she's so awkward it's cute. And the lady that is drinking her own breast milk so she will still have a fresh supply when she gets home to her baby. That's dedication to your children folks. More ANTM drama next week.....

America's Next Top Model Cycle 10

This is a preview for Cycle 10 of ANTM that begins on Feb. 20th on the CW Network. I love this show and will certainly be tuning in. This seasons looks interesting. Tyra looked to have picked up some "real" models this time around.
